About Grace Meikle

I am a writer and scientist who’s spent the past decade working on technology solutions to nuclear waste and climate change. I’ve lived around the world in the US, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, and India. I have published short stories in WHITE ENSO, CAPITAL CITY PRESS, and THE GARFIELD LAKE REVIEW, and I recently received a literary grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts to complete a magical realism novel about the 2011 earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster in Japan. I reside in Edmonton, Alberta with my husband, daughter, and three giant male cats.
